I started writing weblog from 2002 around the time of my first child’s birth.

In late 2009, I lost all my blog contents due to database mismanagement while trying to install Expression Engine 2.0 beta. I then dropped Expression Engine and switched to WordPress, starting all over again from scratch.

In June 2011, I stopped using twitter, facebook, and me2day all together. Since then, I get to write more often on this blog.

On July 6, 2011, while upgrading WordPress version 3.1 to 3.2, I lost all of the images because I forgot to make a backup of the “uploads” folder. Some of the images were restored since then but most of the earlier images are gone. Sorry for the missing images without which some of the blog postings are rendered almost meaningless.

guidelines
I try to “refer” to other sources available on the web instead of making long clippings of the source material.

I try to use my own photo images wherever possible.
